A lovely calico cat from Colorado, Willow disappeared during some renovation work on the family home. Skip forward 5 years and 1800 miles and Willow was identified in the center of New York City by a concerned citizen and taken to a local rescue group. There, it was uncovered by microchip that she belonged to the Squires family that lives over 1800 miles away. In the time since Willow went missing, the families kids had grown and another had been born! Even though this may not have been the longest trip by a cat, it's certain that anyone hearing of this story will recognize that Willow is one well-traveled house cat.
