I can't wait to see new fabrics so I can get another for my bedroom! Being able to stuff this duvet for your dog's comfort is great. The size is prefect for her.
I got the large one for my XL lab and we both love it! Let's face it, a large dog bed costs upwards of $49.00 at the pet store; purchasing a Molly Mutt duvet extends the life of your old dog bed for less than the price of purchasing a new one.
I had gone to a number of stores looking for something like this without success but was glad to find the product on line.
I like the "green" aspect that I can reuse old pillows, dog beds or even clothes and the dog beds are so stylish it really isn't sacrificing anything. None have lasted and many do not have replacement covers or inserts for the beds. No more watching the stuffing fall out after washing dog beds.
Love the pattern and size. This bed did not work out for me because I have an English bulldog that ruined the corners of the bed in 1 day.
Even if it does, though, I bought the mesh insert that you stuff first. The thing that impressed me most was the quality of the material. This duvet does require a lot of stuffing, so have plenty of old blankets available.
I concur with all the other positive reviews of the dog duvet. We also bought the stuff sack and it really keeps all your stuff in there and doesn't let it bunch up. Overall I just love the size and the construction of this thing.
Thanks for a great product! So, good luck filling this adorable insert! The total cost of the pillows and the Molly Mutt duvet are decently cheaper than less attractive setups from many other mail order companies.
The duvet cover is adorable but I tried stuffing with old pillows, quilts, clothes, whatever...the problem with that is that it bunches up and my dog would rather sleep on the floor. (I just couldn't find that much old clothes lying around and think it would get heavy to fill) Definitely recommend this product! I used the bed outside for a while with cedar chips as stuffing, but my dog (black lab 6-month old puppy) didn't really like it.
When that came it was the same wrong pattern. Let's face it, a large dog bed costs upwards of $49.00 at the pet store; purchasing a Molly Mutt duvet extends the life of your old dog bed for less than the price of purchasing a new one.
Lumpy looks less attractive (which is, after all, the point) and is less comfy. I can't say enough about this dog bed.
My dog's a sturdy 75-pounder.

Obviously it's also a much cuter bed than the average pet supply store offering, which is just a great bonus QUEEN DUVET COVER SET.
